An Autism Diary

A day in the life of David Hartley

Getting started

A daily diary of sorts to track David’s Autism?  I understand the request but am nervous about it all the same.  Recording our daily interactions makes them more real… solid… hard to look past at times…  Sometimes this can definitely be a good thing (like when something wonderful happens or he simply did something cute), but other times (you know, the ones that aren’t so pleasant?) not so much.

Either way, here we go on a much needed documentary type of journey.  Feel free to follow, read, share, and comment as much as you like.  Especially that last one. ; )  Comments keep me encouraged to keep writing.  The old, “someone is actually reading this stuff” type of encouragement.  Feel free to be honest too.  Whether you agree, disagree, you’re neutral, or you’re just comenting to be comenting, your words are welcome here. : )

Thanks everyone!  I hope you enjoy this journey into An Autism Diary: A day in the life of David Hartley.  Please come back often. : )
