An Autism Diary

A day in the life of David Hartley

Another attack…

On-line I am seeing stories and images from a harrowing and heartbreaking event… In the room just next to me, two young boys are playing innocently together.  The youngest pretending to be a dog, and the oldest pretending his service dog has finally arrived. *chuckle*

Sometimes, when all is said and done, it’s good to step back from the horror life can put in front of us, and embrace the blessings we are still able to enjoy in order to help us cope and get through it all.

Don’t take anything in life for granted and hold your children and loved ones close today.
