An Autism Diary

A day in the life of David Hartley

A Little Bit of Humor

My boys both have colds today along with low grade fevers. After cleaning up puke that was in the bathroom sink, countless tissues around the house, and tolerating a Thomas the Train movie marathon to keep David calm and happy, one would think I would be ready for the day to just be over.  In some ways I am to be honest (who wouldn’t lol) but my boys, even in the midst of stuffy noses, watery eyes, and practicing the art of a good nose blowing, they still manage to be funny.  Best part? They’re not trying to, they just are. lol
David just commented on how every time he tried to get “booger juice” out of his nose, his eyes would get wet and would leak on his cheeks. He wanted me to make it stop.
A few minutes later, Joshua advised me to not try stuffing the “nose booger catcher” (aka kleenex) up both nose holes at once. That it was very hard to do and didn’t feel good. haha
Oh boys, what am I going to do with you two. lol
